Do I have to pay for a license or subscription?

Wherever possible, Hive3D has partnered with forward-thinking 3D Software Publishers to offer you proven desktop software in the cloud at pay-as-you-go (PAYG) rates. Depending on the arrangement with the Software Publisher, Hive3D features three types of licensing modes:

• BOYL (Bring Your Own License) - requires that you already have a valid license key for the application (perhaps running on a different machine at work or at your home office), but you can use your license key and enter it into the same application on Hive3D in order to unlock all the features consistent with that license.

• Licensed - Some applications on Hive3D already have usage licenses procured for you, so you do not need to purchase a separate license. Just start the applications and begin using it.

• No License - A few popular 3D applications like Blender do not require a license, so we pass that 100% savings on to you. All you are paying for is the computing performance levels you selected.
